Protecting irreplaceable pieces of history with industry-leading packaging, insurance, and delivery standards.
At Historical Antiques, we understand that the items you purchase are irreplaceable pieces of history. We take extreme care in packaging and utilize industry-standard methods to ensure your items arrive in the same condition they left our gallery.
Acid-free materials & double-boxing for maximum protection
100% coverage included on all shipments
Secure shipping to collectors globally
We primarily ship via USPS Registered Mail for high-value items, as it is widely considered the most secure domestic shipping method. Standard orders are shipped via tracked and insured carriers within 3 business days of payment.
To protect your investment, all shipments are fully insured for their full purchase value. This cost is included in your shipping quote.
Certain military memorabilia or large antiques require custom crating or specialized couriers. For these items, a "Custom Shipping Quote" is required at checkout. We will contact you within 24 hours with a precise logistical plan and cost.
We ship globally; however, buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and verifying that the specific military or historical item is legal for import into their country.
Important: Some countries have restrictions on importing military artifacts. Please verify import regulations before ordering.
We use acid-free materials for documents and rare books. Fragile items are "double-boxed" with at least 2 inches of shock-absorbing material between the inner and outer containers to prevent movement.
We stand behind every item we sell. All rare books, manuscripts, and military memorabilia come with a Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity. If any item is ever proven to be non-authentic by a reputable third-party authority, we will issue a 100% refund, including all original and return shipping costs.
If you are dissatisfied for any other reason, you must contact us at info@historicalantiques.com within 10 days of receipt to initiate a return.
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the exact condition in which they were received. Because historical items are easily devalued by improper handling, returns that show new damage or alterations will not be accepted.
Except in cases of authenticity disputes or errors in our description, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and insurance. The item must be returned via a tracked and fully insured service.
Please note that items marked "As-Is" or sold during specific clearance events are final sale and not eligible for return unless there is an authenticity issue.
Once the item is received and its condition is verified, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
